Geoje Island
Alright, I am going to admit it. After Jeju, Geojedo felt a bit overrated. I had a good teacher friend who grew up here and always talked up its beauty. It’s beaches were supposed to rival even those are Jeju. In my hasty 1 day observation, I am going with nah! Geoje is an alright place to visit if you’re in the neighborhood and just want a less known place with some ocean water, but I probably wouldn’t even recommended to someone living in Seoul given how many better and closer beaches exit.
The best thing I did today wasn’t really Geoje itself, but reaching Tongyeong’s port. Tomorrow, I head to Bijindo which I am sure won’t disappoint.
